Kreemi bandana

My pup’s been wearing this on our last three trail runs and it actually stays put, even when she’s bounding around. The soak-and-tie trick does seem to take the edge off the heat, and it makes for a cute summit photo bonus.

Soaked it for a minute before our hike and the bandana stayed cool for a couple of hours — made a real difference when my dog started panting on the switchbacks. She didn’t try to shake it off once, which surprised me given how picky she is about gear.

I was skeptical about whether a wet piece of fabric could actually help, but after a steep climb in 80-degree heat, my pup’s panting slowed noticeably within ten minutes of tying it on. Soaking it takes barely a second, and it stayed damp for a good two hours on the trail.
