It's soft and comfortable to hold, and the mud rinses right off which is exactly what I needed. But I’m not sure it’s any tougher than a regular leash, and after a few weeks the grip started feeling a bit less grippy. Fine for everyday walks, just not the upgrade I hoped for.
The leash does clean up well after muddy walks, and it's noticeably softer on my hands than the last one I had. But for the price, I expected it to feel a bit more rugged on the hardware side, and it picks up a slightly funky smell after a few wet days unless I rinse it immediately.
