I’ve worn this on morning hikes with my pup and the garment-dyed wash makes it feel broken-in right out of the bag, no stiff fabric phase. It’s held up through a few muddy trails and washes without fading, which is more than I can say for most shirts I own.
The sleeves are long enough to actually stay put when I’m reaching down to grab the leash, and the garment-dyed fabric has that broken-in softness right out of the bag. Took it on a chilly morning hike with my pup and didn’t want to take it off when we got home.
The garment-dyed finish gives it a nice worn-in feel right out of the bag, and it's definitely soft enough for a long day outside. Fit runs a bit roomy, which is fine for layering, but I wish the cuffs were a touch tighter for cooler evenings. Decent shirt overall, just not sure it's worth the price
