My dog inhales his food so fast that kibble usually ends up everywhere, but this placemat catches every single stray piece and the bowls stay exactly where I put them. Cleanup is just a quick rinse in the sink, which beats scrubbing the floor every single day.

The non-slip bottom is a lifesaver, my labrador slides the bowl around the floor like crazy but this keeps it locked in place. Cleanup is so easy too, I just rinse it off after he's done and any spilled water doesn't end up all over the kitchen tiles.
