Took this on a trail hike where my pup darts after every scent, and the slip design tightened just enough to keep control without choking. The rope feels sturdy and should hold up to years of pulling.

Slips over the head easily enough, but the rope feels a bit thin for bigger dogs who like to pull. The sliding loop works fine on calm days, though I find myself adjusting it constantly mid-walk. It's decent for quick trips, but I wouldn't trust it for serious training sessions.
