My dog barely notices it's on, but I've yanked it hard enough during a few squirrel chases to trust that tight weave completely. For a one-inch collar it's surprisingly tough without any of that bulky stiffness.

The one-inch webbing is way lighter than any other collar I've tried, yet it's held up through muddy trails and daily pulling without fraying. My dog doesn't even seem to notice it's on, which is the whole point of going ultralight.

I was skeptical a collar this light could hold up to my dog's pulling, but the 1-inch polyester webbing has handled everything from mud puddles to fence-jumping with zero fraying. The featherweight feel is perfect for all-day hikes.
