I've put this collar through three muddy trail runs and a beach day, and it still looks brand new after just a rinse under the tap. The material really does stay soft in your hand while being tough on the trail, and no lingering dog smell at all.
Took this on a beach trip and the rinse-off really works—sand and saltwater slide right off, no lingering smell. The material stays soft in my hand even after a week of daily walks in wet grass. Only wish the buckle had a bit more give for my thick-necked lab.
