My mystery jacket arrived in a cheerful burnt orange, and despite a bit of fur along the zipper, it's clearly been well-cared for and has plenty of dry walks left in it. The fabric feels sturdy enough for muddy trails, and my pup didn't fuss once when I slipped it on.
The mystery color turned out to be a nice surprise, and the slight wear is barely noticeable — my dog wore it all afternoon without fussing. There was a bit of fur on it, but that just meant it was broken in already.
Got this mystery color version and honestly the surprise factor was part of the fun—mine turned out to be a deep rust that looks great on walks. The few bits of fur and dirt just meant it was already broken in, and the fabric still feels sturdy enough for plenty more muddy seasons.
